i am currently growing some gelato seeds that i found in a bag. This with 25 years smoking under my belt. Will report outcome after harvest . First time growing, outdoors, yielded 27 oz. I grrew.Gelato og this year and can honestly say this strain is some of the stinkiest and most crystally weed ivè ever grown and ive been growing high quality outdoors organic pot for 35 years.. planted late as an Afterthought in November she grew(australia)tall and bushy and needed tying down around half way thru the veg period.. She was shiny with a slightly blue tìnge at the end....a truly beautiful plant. The head high and mood altering quality it has benefited those who are suffering from depression and other anxiety disorders.

Definitely let U know the outcome in October , Have 5 gelato girls growing at 4,900 ft. Short growing season up there.havent replied before 3 are over 6 ft, while other 3 are short fat girls. Taste amazing. Still holding just a touch of lime green in the mornings.

Gelato does not have any serious adverse reactions, other than what is common in cannabis strains. The Gelato strain was created in California’s Bay Area by combining genes from Sunset Sherbert and Thin Mint GSC. i have 2 big mothers that i am about to flip to flowering early next week after removing some of the leaves, and i have 3 that are almost at week 5 of flowering. I have 5 other strains which are all showing very healthy buds and foliage. It seems to prevent wilting and doesnt apear to have deprived them so........ Lol. Totally reminded me of GSC for the first half hour and then I guess the Indica side kicked in.
Compared to the purple passion, gelato stayed short, and will produce about half what the pP will, judging by the height and stretch of the PP, and the size of the PP buds. I am sold.
Big thanks to the original breeders. If you want to nestle in with a nice book or movie, Gelato is a great companion.

I use a Hypertufa planter and Suoer concentrated soil on the bottome latest and Fox farms organic soil for the top layer.
GELATO IS ONE OF THE TOP STRAINS OUT THERE. As I not a rookie grower I have a lite bot of time under with this beautiful plant both as an apprentice learning and on my own.

First time growing for me looks fine but maybe you should see. But on rare occasions, this strain may cause a slightly elevated level of anxiousness.
