Everyone thoroughly enjoyed it. Between checks, we anchored the boat within sight of the nets and kept our fingers crossed we would catch a sawfish, ray or shark. My partner and I had a great experience. They supply wetsuits and crocs to wear and the guide was great.

The kids were a bit scared to go to the big one but still loved the whole experience.There is no point to go to this place unless you do the experience as this is a very small place with not much else to do to.Staff seems very knowledgeable but they just simply say the same thing every day. Yes you are absolutely correct when we are not running pre-school groups or primary school groups we focus the tour at the adults education. The health and wellbeing of our animals is our highest priority!
Potential is there for shade awnings near the large pool, picnic shelters and more tables, a larger kiosk or cafe and a bigger gift shop.

Although the website advertises this as being 'suited to all ages from 0-100', I would not recommend this as an activity for young children. The work they do here is amazing, not only do they educate the visitors and give you a chance to be up close and personal with the sharks and rays but they also breed them to be released back into their natural habitats which is just phenomenal. It was well priced for an adult considering you could stay as long as you wanted and got wesuit hire.

It was $19.50 for children under 16 to get in , then if you wanted to go fro the full experience of getting in the water with the sharks and Rays it was only $18 extra. The only way we are allowed to let children swim with the Sharks under 12 years old is with an accompanying adult, we will not be allowed to operate if we break this rule. The little ones experience out of the water is best to take place at the feeding pools, hopefully you hung around till the presentation was finished to get to feed the animals in the next pool? It completely changed my partners view on sharks and rays and we both learnt very valuable lessons.As we went during off season it was lovely and quiet so we could spend a generous amount of time looking around, in the water and chatting to the staff but I would imagine during peak season (school holidays) it would become very busy and loud and you probably couldn't spend a huge amount of extra time in the water. Yes you are right ~ the off season is the best time to get a one on one tour with our amazing fish family, people don't realise the water is heated so the majority wait until summer! The animals are so engaging with us humans, it definitely makes it worth going into the water amongst them! Could not believe what fantastic value for money this was. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed it. Unique experience albeit costly. Review tags are currently only available for English language reviews. I recommend going in the off season to truly have that one on one experience with these beautiful creatures.
Choose to view the magnificent creatures from the viewing deck, or in summer for the more adventurous you can also get even closer via the boom net attached to the back of the boat.

It is best if you wear swimwear underneath. However, I feel like it is quite small for the sharks n rays... Not sure if enough space them to do what they need to do.
It was originally to be out in the middle however it was getting ruined so we had to move it for the winter. However, that may take time to complete. AMAZING!

This is why we provide a guided tour throughout the aquarium to help engage the visitors and teach them all about our beautiful creatures.
