The route to use is the A65 from J36. Those of you who came to watch will be aware that we didn't charge you to come in. So if you’d like to help marshal the course, help at the startline or maybe in the paddock area, we’d be very happy to hear from you.

Whilst disabled visitors are welcome, the terrain is not particularly suitable for those with limited mobility or in wheelchairs as, for 363 days a year, it is merely farmland that forms part of the Barbon Manor Estate.

Barbon hillclimb Ltd, We are pleased to announce that the entry lists are now open for this year's Hillclimbs (for cars) at Barbon Manor. 01/06/2020 We would like to inform all Riders and Spectators that due to the current pandemic we have decided to cancel Barbon Hill Climb for 2020. This decision has been made to ensure the safety of all riders, spectators, land owners and local residents due to the unprecedented situation of COVID-19. 4th July 2020 You don’t have to be a member of a motor club, nor do you need a set of those fetching orange fire-resistant overalls (though it’s a good idea!) But we always want more! Since 2013 the car events have been run by Barbon Hillclimb Ltd, a joint venture between Kirkby Londsale Motor Club and Liverpool Motor Club, the latter being the official promoter of the events. Gates open at 7am, first practice runs start at about 9.30am and the action continues right through the day until around 4.30pm (with a break for lunch). From the M6, take the A65 East to Kirkby Lonsdale, turn left onto the A683 for exactly 3 miles, then right to Barbon Village.
