Have to say this is the best high tea selection I have ever enjoyed (and I have done many!). Tea arrived quickly shortly after a multi tiered tray of delicious treats arrived at the table. Will I stay here again for business? Opted for free flowing tea at $45 p/p although bubbles are available at $65 p/p. We couldn’t finish everything on the stand (and yes, we contemplated sneaking the shortbread into our bags). The best surprise were the beds. All of these were good trips. A nice Perth hotel that is very hard to fault. Duxton hotel is a class act with great service, fine accommodation and a very good restaurant down stairs.

There are no family rooms on te club floors, so I had presumed there wouldn't be young kids in the club. Unfortunately due to supply and demand is extremely high and although we are very sensitive to the rates that our guests will pay, we have structured our rates to ensure a long term benefit to all our guests and not to price our selves out of the market.We have also completed a soft refurbishment of the hotel this year but to complete a major refurbishment in a strong market is currently not viable option. Staff at check in and out were great, not so inspiring in the restaurant at breakfast...food was really not that good either with the space ship looking warmers not keeping the food warm...just lacked customer service excellence all round....wake up Duxton no wonder people visiting Australia are shocked at how slack Perth has become with such high occupancy rates...one day the boom for you will end and hotels will have to work for their customers again, Dear Familyfun69,I appreciate the time you have taken to inform myself of your experience on your recent stay with us. All resolved - Great service. The Duxton is situated at the quieter end of Perth CBD but is only a short few blocks walk to the livelier bits. It's easy to access if coming up from the river end of Victoria street and offers Valet parking only at $48. Despite our best efforts we did not finish everything.
