I have read that the longest living Mocking Bird was recorded at 14 years old. Hello! It was fuzzy and only had about half of its adult plummage. Too many times I have heard people say to leave them alone and mom and dad will continue to care for them, but seriously, how many times outside of a cartoon have you seen mama pick up baby and put it back in the nest.

We have a mockingbird that has not shut up for 1 week straight. . We live outside of Clearwater, FL and the parents build nest from about April through July and usually lay 3 – 4 eggs.
