The Georgia TIPS Certification Course is $40, 3 hours in length, and certification is valid for 3 years unlike other 2 year alcohol certification programs. At least take the time to understand it, even if you don’t have time to memorize it. Don’t be the person who misses the deadline! Even if you cry and tell them you forgot, no mercy. Doing practice essays and reading the sample answers are a great way to start the memorization process.
M – One testing location with long tables. It greatly helped, given you are also dealing with anxiety and nervousness on the day of the exam, to have my mind already trained and familiar with the rhythm and pace to take when doing MBE questions. Check communications from the Georgia bar or your bar jurisdiction as to whether you will now be allowed to use any scratch paper during the MPT, as that was a recent change option, but not all states have changed their restrictions. Z – Take practice tests as much as possible, even if its just in sections. Take time for yourself, but plan it in advance.
Most of all, get a good night’s sleep tonight, stay hydrated, plan ahead for challenges like traffic and weather, and get to the test site early.
