I started the track from Connolly Road, which is accessed from Captain Cook Highway, then Mowbray River Road. For the fit and energetic party, you can take the longer 12k return walk to Mowbray Falls which takes about 4-5 hours, not including stopping time. Just after Woolies, take a left onto Johnston Road and continue on to Mossman Gorge Road, then follow the signs to the Centre where you’ll park up. Have fun exploring the area and see if you can spot turtles lurking in the water.
