The cleaning happened and well it seemed ok except for the fact that I paid the company extra to clean my cabinets and they were barely wiped down, like still spices and dust on the inside... Also I didn't realize until after I had put my 4 star review in that the cleaning lady had actually drank half a bottle of my red wine?!? Sunny L and Handy point the fingers at each other, and they do not take any responsibility whatsoever.
The guy they sent was an imbecile wholly unfit to be assembling furniture.
They DID re-schedule, my place was cleaned with my preferred cleaner, and all was well. I would highly recommend this company for a deep cleaned house. Overview Overview. I feel that this is theft! She did a terrible job. The cleaning prior to this one was so poor as to be basically useless. This might take some getting used to for engineers who have not experienced a similar process. The few pecans added so much. I just did an indie review of Handy so I figured I'd update on YELP too. Frankly by this stage anything was better than having dealing with this rubbish, so I cancelled my service. I have decided that I will cancel my service as of today.
My first cleaning with them went flawlessly. What's more, she took the sponge from the bathtub which had been used on all things bathroom and decided to clean the kitchen with it...eww. If they hire more professionals like him, I've no doubt they'll grow their business in Toronto.
It's very clear to me that Handy is lying to consumers, saying a booking has been made and not making a booking at all. Not with Handy just down to work, no attitude, just thorough cleaning and pleasant personality. Avoid this app like the plague. She hit the nail on the head. This is the first time I've had a cleaning lady as an adult, and it certainly won't be the last time. Handy itself as an organization isn't the best.
